Declined, Canceled, or Returned Payments

If your payee declines a payment, they will be prompted to note a reason for the decline, and you will be notified via email with the reason and through a status update in the “Payment Details” section.  

When you cancel a payment, you will be notified via email and through a status update in the “Payment Details” section.   Your payee will also be notified via email that you canceled the payment.

If your Bento payment is not accepted within 30 days and expires, or the Payee does not redeem the full value of the one-time use virtual payment card in one transaction, then the remaining value will be returned to your Bento balance.  You will be notified via email and through a status update in the “Payment Details” section.
